
Sure, we all know they’re full of water, low in calories, and good for your skin.
But did you know…
Cucumbers are technically a fruit, not a vegetable (yes, really).
In Victorian times, they were called “cowcumbers”—mooo-ving on.
In ancient Egypt, pharaohs worshipped cucumbers (OK, maybe not worshipped, but they really liked them).
And in some parts of the world, people eat cucumbers dipped in sugar.
Yes. Sugar.
Meanwhile, in our house, someone dips them in mayonnaise. No names mentioned.
